Overview

The Chardham Yatra, meaning "journey to the four abodes," is a pilgrimage circuit in India that encompasses four sacred sites: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, located in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. Pilgrims undertake this spiritual journey to seek blessings and purification by visiting these revered temples dedicated to different deities, including Goddess Yamuna, Goddess Ganga, Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu.

What makes this tour special

Yamunotri - The birthplace of the Yamuna River, Yamunotri is another significant pilgrimage site. The temple here is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, and devotees embark on a trek to reach the temple, surrounded by serene Himalayan landscapes.

Gangotri - The source of the holy Ganges River, Gangotri is a revered site for Hindus. The temple here is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It's said that King Bhagirath meditated here to bring the river Ganga down to earth.

Kedarnath - This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is among the twelve Jyotirlingas. It's located near the Mandakini River at the foothills of the Himalayas. The temple, nestled amidst breathtaking mountain scenery, holds immense spiritual significance.

Badrinath is situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River; it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple here is one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism, with a black stone statue of Lord Badrinarayan. The site is believed to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century.

Itinerary

DAY 01: DELHI – HARIDWAR

 

Arrival at New Delhi by Flight / Train and proceed to dormitory hall for freshen up. Reporting Time 11.00 AM. After lunch proceed to Haridwar, at 1.00 pm Arrival Haridwar 7.00 pm check into the hotel, (Dinner) and overnight stay (Haridwar Stay)

 

DAY 02: HARIDWAR - BARKOT

 

After breakfast checkout of the hotel and proceed to Barkot en-route have lunch on arrival check into the hotel , (Dinner) and Overnight stay. (Barkot Stay)

 

DAY 03: BARKOT – YAMUNOTRI - BARKOT

 

Early proceed to Yamunotri Further Trek 06 Km to reach temple (en-route Packed Breakfast & lunch) After Darshan return back to Yamunotri proceed to Barkot.(Dinner) and Overnight stay. (Barkot Stay)

 

DAY 04: BARKOT - UTTARKASHI

 

After breakfast ,checkout of the hotel proceed to Uttarkashi. En route Lunch On arrival check in hotel fresh up proceed for Darshan of Vishwanath Temple after Darshan, back hotel . (Dinner) and Overnight Stay. (Uttarkashi Stay)

 

DAY 05: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI

 

Early proceed to Gangotri (3048 mts) en route visit Bhagirathi River with the views of Himalayas en-route (Packaged Break fast & lunch), on arrival have Darshan of Gangotri Temple & holy dip in Bhagirathi River. Evening return back to Uttarkashi .( Dinner) (Uttarkashi Stay)

 

DAY 06: UTTARKASHI- SITAPUR

 

Early check out the hotel and proceed to Sitapur, (en-route Breakfast & lunch). On arrival check into the hotel for (Dinner) and Overnight stay.(Sitapur Stay)

 

DAY 07: SITAPUR – KEDARNATH - SITAPUR

 

After early breakfast proceed to Sonprayag On arrival trek start from Gaurikund to Kedarnath ( 3584 mts By walk /Pony / Doli. charges to be borne by party) On arrival have darshan and perform pooja at the Jyothirlinga. (Lunch not included ) Later afternoon back to Gurikund and proceed back to Sitapur . Dinner and Overnight stay. (Sitapur Stay)

DAY 08: SITAPUR

 

After breakfast full day free for Leisure at Sitapur. (Lunch & Dinner) at Hotel and Overnight stay (Sitapur Stay)

 

DAY 09: SITAPUR - PIPALKOT

 

After early breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Pipalkot. Arrival check into the hotel for (Dinner) (Pipalkot Stay)

 

DAY 10: PIPALKOT – BADRINATH- PIPALKOT

 

03.00 AM Dep. for Badrinath Temple for darashan and attend morning pooja at the Temple, proceed back to Pipalkot (Breakfast & Lunch packed en route.) dinner and Overnight Stay. (Pipalkot Stay)

 

DAY 11: PIPALKOT – RISHIKESH - HARIDWAR

 

Early checkout from the hotel and proceed to Rishikesh en route have Breakfast & lunch, On arrival visit Ram joola, Lakshmanjoola, Swargashramam. Reach Haridwar for Aarti Darshan at Har Ki Pauri, later Evening check into the hotel for (Dinner) (Haridwar Stay)

 

DAY 12: HARIDWAR –DELHI

 

After breakfast checkout from the hotel proceed to New Delhi Airport/ Station
