Day 01 Wednesday: Chennai-Mahabalipuram-Pondicherry-Chidambaram
Early Departure to Mahabalipuram from Chennai at 06.00 hrs. Enjoy the scenic drive on the eat coast road along the bay of bengal. On arrival at Mamallapuram the 7th century port city of the South Indian dynasty reigned by the Pallava. The Rathas( temples in the form of chariots), Mandapas ( cave sanctuaries), Giant open air rock reliefs such as the famous Descent of the Ganges, and the Shore Temple, with thousands of sculptures to the glory of Lord Shiva will bring to life pages of history.The Group of Monuments at Mamallapuram has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Post lunch depart to Pondicherry a Union Territorry, former french colony. Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville Ashram coveted as the city of dawn. Late evening proceed to Chidambaram. On arrival at Chidamabaram check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02 Thursday: Chidambaram-Thanjavur-Rameswaram
Early darshan at Thillai Nataraja Temple of the Cosmic dancer constructed during the 11th Century. Thillai Nataraja one of the most important temples for Shaivites. After darshan departto Thanjavur to visit UNESCO Wolrd Heritage Site the grand Brahadeshwara Temple of 1010 AD. This Cholan era marvel will leave you astounded.
Post lunch proceed to Rameswaram and have darshan of Sri Ramanathaswamy, another important pilgrim site for Hindus dating back to Ramayana periord. The Temple is renowned for its magnificent coridors and sculpture pillars that are largest in the world. After darshan check into hotel for dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 03 Friday: Rameswaram-Kanyakumari
Early visit to the temple to bathe in holy Agni Theertham and 21 wells have darshan of Ramanathaswamy and depart to Kanyakumari at 11.00 hrs.
On arrival at kanyakumari visit Sunset point and visit Kumari Amman Temple. After darshan check into hotel for dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 04 Saturday: Kanyakumari-Madurai
Early morning experience the sunrise View at Sangam point where three seas Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean confluence. After breakfast visit Vivekananda Rock where Swami Vivekananda attain enlightenment and the mammoth statue of Thiruvalluvar earliest know poets of the world famous for Thirukural. Later visit Suchindram temple one of the few temples in the country that enshrines the trinity of hinduism Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva .
After darshan depart to the Temple city Madurai at 14.00 hrs. On arrival check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 Sunday: Madurai-Kodaikanal
Early darshan of Goddess Meenakshi Amman and Lord Sundareshwarar at the huge temple sprawling 17 acres that is about 2500 years old and a UNESCO World heritage site.
After breakfast proceed to the princes of hills in the western ghats Kodaikanal at 10.00 hrs. On arrival check into the hotel for fresh up. Post lunch proceed to visit Kodaikanal Lake, Coakers walk and take a stroll around kodai, rest of the evening is at leisure, later return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06 Monday: Kodaikanal- Tiruchirappalli
After breakfast checkout & proceed to visit Guna Cave, Pillar Rock, Pine forest, Kurinji andavar temple, post lunch proceed to Tiruchirappalli at 15.00 hrs. On arrival check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07 Tuesday; Kodaikanal- Tiruchirappalli
After breakfast checkout & proceed to visit Guna Cave, Pillar Rock, Pine forest, Kurinji andavar temple, post lunch proceed to Tiruchirappalli at 15.00 hrs. On arrival check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08 Wednesday Tiruchirappalli-Kanchipuram
Early visit to Srirangam Temple the biggest functioning hindu temple in the world revered as the foremost of the eight self-manifested shrines (Swayam Vyatka Kshetra) of Lord Vishnu. Srirangam is an river island bounded by the mighty Kaveri River. The most important of the 108 main Vishnu Temples (Divya Desam). Darshan of Sri Renganatha swamy. After darshan & breakfast depart to Kanchipuram at 10.00 hrs.
On arrival kanchipuram darshan of Lord Kailashanathar at the temple build between 685-705D by the Pallava Dynasty. After darshan visit the temple of Lord Varadaraj Perumal and Ekambareshwarar know for its magnificent towers (Gopurams) and structures. After darshan check into hotel for dinner & Overnight stay.
Day 09 Thursday: Kanchipuram-Tirupati-Chennai
After early departure to Tirupati at 05.00 hrs. On arrival Tirupati proceed by devasthanam board local bus to Thirumala hills for darshan of Tirupati Balaji. Tirupati Balalji temple being the wealthiest temples of the world is also the most visited holy places in the world.
After darshan of Lord Venkateshwara return to tirupati and depart to Chennai. On arrival at chennai board flight/train to your hometown with happy memories & experiences !!!.
